2020 Niue Gold and Silver Coin Featuring Ancient Egyptian Falcon

The Island of Niue released the 2020 gold and silver-plated pure silver coin featuring the “Egyptian Falcon”. The coin produced by the  Mint of Poland.  The coin is a legal tender with a face value of 1 Niue dollar. The coin weighs 1.5 grams and has a diameter of 38.61mm.

Falcons are the most popular symbols of ancient and modern Egypt. Horus – the falcon-headed god, is among the most famous gods worshipped in ancient Egypt.  Horus is the son of Osiris and Isis and could even take a human shape when needed.  One of Horus’ eyes represented the sun and the other moon. The official airline of Egypt – Egypt Air uses Horus in their Logo.

The 2020 Egyptian coin having a limited mintage of 999 coins worldwide. The coin present in a special themed case with a serialized certificate of authority.
