The Republic of Palau has issued a new unique Dragonfish Golden Arowana 2 Oz gold-plated .999 fine Proof Silver Coin portraying the golden dragonfish – The Asian arowana. The Dragonfish is fresh water fish, usually found in the freshwaters of Southeast Asia. The name “dragon fish came from its resemblance to the Chinese dragon.

The 2019 Dragonfish 2 Oz Silver coin is shaped as a fish and produced using the innovative “Smartminting© technology”. The reverse of the Golden Arowana coins features a full size dragonfish with exquisite gold plating. With the use of the Smartminting© technology every detail of the fish inducing the fish scales are replicated with minute details. Each single scale is lined with black enamel to get the visual effect, each scale reflects light and sparkles. The obverse of the 2019 Palau Dragonfish coin is inscribed with the face value “$10”, the year and Issuing country, “2019 REPUBLIC OF PALAU” and the coin name “AROWANA DRAGONFISH”.
